St.Gallen Top Team (SGTT) - Team Model & Survey

Type
applied research project
Start Date
2018
Status
ongoing
Description
Teams are on the rise across all organizational types and levels. Previously, teams often performed clearly specified routine tasks. Today teams integrate diverse specialists and senior executives, and increasingly perform missions critical to the organization, incl. strategic change or growth projects. However, for a variety of reasons, teams may fail to live up to their potential. Organizations know how to manage departments and divisions, but have no models to consistently build and maintain high-performance teams across the organization.

The St.Gallen Top Team (SGTT) is a conceptual model which enables firms to create and operate teams that excel at achieving their objectives. Grounded in research insights it will inform fundamental and applied work at FIM-HSG while aiming to impact practice by supporting firms and TMT’s in their quest for high-performance.
