Abstract
Countries around the world adjust the way they deliver health and social care services, responding to the changing needs of an aging population and people living with one or more chronic conditions. In many cases, service provider organizations break new ground and start coordinating activities in interorganizational networks. However, despite best intentions, progress has remained limited, not least due to the challenge of governing these networks. This chapter aims at identifying three perspectives on the governance of integrated care networks, describing network governance as structure, process, and practice.
