Offen bleibt, wieweit man mit entsprechender Sensibilisierung den Niedergang des Konzerns abwenden hätte können. Den befragten Wirtschaftsstraftätern zufolge wären damit zumindest die Strafen und Stigmatisierungen der Führungskräfte und Verwaltungsräte milder ausgefallen.

How such awareness could have prevented the fall of the company – this is a question which remains open. According to the interviewed fraudsters, the penalties and the stigmatisation of the senior management and supervisory board would at least have been less severe.
