Abstract
This research aims at clarifying, how structures of simultaneous cooperation and competition affect entrepreneurial behavior and how an organization might establish these structures to foster corporate entrepreneurship. Therefore, it evaluates the impact of coopetition on entrepreneurial behavior within the corporate network. To approach this question, this article argues that intra-organizational coopetition could combine the advantages of competition and collaboration. Coopetition therefore is defined as the situational equilibrium between competition and cooperation in a particular context. Herein, the context is understood in the relationship between two or more entities of a social network. The author believes that coopetition can explain the success of corporate entrepreneurship.
