Abstract
The phrase "everything could be different", the mantra of the culture of the possible, underpins any alternative scenarios. In transformation studies, this attitude encourages the belief in change by design (change by design), i.e., intentional change according according to certain values and objectives (for example, a more sustainable and socially just socially just).
