Abstract (De)
The Internet as a free and almost unregulated space enables various institutions, such as associations and companies, to offer educational materials, e. g. OER, to potential users via online platforms. The few existing market analyses show that these platforms and the offered educational media are characterised by a high degree of heterogeneity both in
quantitative and qualitative terms. The present article focuses on the questions what can and what should we know about the platforms that offer OER to be able to evaluate their overall quality. So far, these questions have only been dealt with in passing from an educational perspective and will thus be examined. The results of our platform analyses will
be presented, discussed and theoretical and practical implications derived.
