Abstract
The 8th edition of the Swiss Manufacturing Survey, conducted by the Institute of Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen, presents a comprehensive analysis of the current challenges facing Swiss industry. The study's objective is to obtain a detailed representation of the prevailing sentiment within the industry, to identify pivotal trends at an early stage, and to furnish participating companies with insights into their performance relative to that of their competitors. The findings are of significant value to business, science, and politics, as they contribute to the reinforcement of Switzerland's industrial sector in the context of a challenging global environment.

Ausgabe der Swiss Manufacturing Survey des Instituts für Technologiemanagement der Universität St. Gallen präsentiert eine umfassende Analyse der gegenwärtigen Herausforderungen für die Schweizer Industrie. Die Studie verfolgt das Ziel, ein umfassendes Stimmungsbild der Branche zu erfassen, wesentliche Trends frühzeitig zu identifizieren und den teilnehmenden Unternehmen Einblicke zu bieten, um ihre Leistung mit der von Mitbewerbern zu vergleichen. Die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse sind für die Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Politik von großem Nutzen, um den Industriesektor der Schweiz in einem herausfordernden globalen Umfeld zu stärken.
