Abstract (De)
Fraudulent behaviour in companies causes substantial damage both tangible and intangible. For example, the loss of public trust can be particularly harmful to an implicated company's long-term viability. The term "trust" as defined in scientific publications has been relevant in the study of white-collar crime from its early beginnings. However, more recent scientific papers focus more on experts and victims than the actual perpetrators of white-collar crime. The following results illustrate the importance of "trust" from the under-researched perspective of high profile white-collar offenders. These offenders talked a lot about "trust" even without being explicitly asked about the term. Thus the key term reached the highest level in the "gestalten" tree. For white-collar offenders, "trust" is regarded as particularly importance but "blind trust" is considered especially hazardous.
