In comparison to the discourse about design thinking from a designer's point of view, is the managerial discourse about the embedding of Design Thinking still limited. This scant academic foundation is also linked to the fact that a few basic questions remain unanswered, such as what is meant by embedding design thinking in corporations. Therefore the state-of-the-art that remains to be identified. This gap in the literature has provided the opportunity to present this literature review. To foster academic groundedness, the method used to identify, present and analyze the relevant literature is based anestablished literature review approach.
