The new ICT establishes new platforms to transport information, this it establishes new machines to process information. Economic phenomena of e-Business and e-Commerce illustrate the power and the effects of this technology on economy. The progress of the industrialization of information processing will continue to trigger changes in our society.<br><br>Schmid?s media model and the according media reference model describe information systems as spheres built for communities of agents and markets. The medium provides the means to manage the population of agents. The authors present a modeling method which especially takes into account the management of the community by their media. This approach is illustrated with a case study of Amazon.com.
