Description
The project serves to develop an SNF proposal on the ways in which the rise of emerging markets affects the strength as well as content of 'Southern norms' in world politics. To investigate whether the rise of some parts of the Global South strengthens or undermines norms that demand a differentiated treatment of developed and developing countries we focus on two highly contentious topics: climate and trade.
