Ana is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of St.Gallen, Chair of Public International Law. She is also affiliated with the Geneva Graduate Institute, where she is responsible for implementing the project ‘Navigating Between Peace and Justice: Arrest Warrants and Peace Negotiations’ for the Directorate of International Law of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. In addition, she serves on the Editorial, AI, and Podcast Committees of the Journal of International Criminal Justice.

Previously, Ana worked with several institutions, including the Geneva Graduate Institute, the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and swisspeace, in various roles.

Ana holds a PhD from the Geneva Graduate Institute, as well as Master’s degrees in International Law and Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute and the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, respectively. Her research and professional experience span several areas of national and international law, with a particular focus on public international law, national and international criminal law, international human rights law, transitional justice, and international humanitarian law.
