Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to appraise, provoke and shape the discussion towards a processual understanding of entrepreneurship and its relational dynamics. The focus is on the creative processes of entrepreneurial practice in the context of social organizations. In doing so, attention is drawn to the process of opportunity genesis and development, introducing temporality, relational identity development and improvisation in the study of entrepreneurship. The proposed conceptualization of entrepreneurial leadership represents a dialectical concept, and seeks to transcend dichotomies, such as individual versus group, planning versus emerging, or predictability versus spontaneity.
