Abstract
This paper was written during ongoing fieldwork for Lena's monographic PhD project. Thus, we would rather aim to share initial observations, puzzles, and interpretations than propose results and contributions. The following manuscript, therefore, does not follow the typical paper structure but evolves around four theses. These theses show emerging puzzles and storylines from the fieldwork, which we believe could contribute to or challenge research from management and organization studies. We would be happy to receive feedback on what aspects of the empirical work spark your interest, how to proceed with the fieldwork, and discuss possible contributions of the empirical material.
