Abstract
Trust research has long treated vulnerability as a conceptual given: necessary, assumed, yet seldom examined in its own right. As relations between people, organisations, technologies, and even countries become increasingly interdependent, opaque, and sometimes strained, understanding the dynamics between trust and vulnerability has never been more urgent. This Special Issue opens dialogue across disciplines, exploring how vulnerability and trust are enacted, negotiated, and made meaningful within the shifting terrain of contemporary life.
