Abstract
The use of construction scopes in building permit procedures is a Swiss peculiarity and serves both as a means of publicity and to illustrate the dimensions of a construction project. However, whether or not construction scopes can also be useful in other countries depends on the legal system and a cost-benefit analysis.

Das Stellen von Baugespannen im Baubewilligungsverfahren stellt eine schweizerische Eigenheit dar und dient sowohl als Publizitätsmittel als auch zur Darstellung der Dimensionen eines Bauvorhabens. Ob Baugespanne jedoch auch in anderen Ländern einen Nutzen entfalten können, hängt vom Rechtssystem und einer Kosten-Nutzen-Rechnung ab.

La pose des gabarits dans la procédures d’autorisation de construire est une particularité suisse et sert à la fois de moyen de publicité et de représentation des dimensions d’un projet de construction. La question de savoir si les plans de construction peuvent également être utiles dans d’autres pays dépend du système juridique et d’un calcul coûts/bénéfices.
