Abstract
Scientific entrepreneurship has garnered significant attention in both research and practice due to its potential to explain how entrepreneurs effectively act under uncertainty. However, progress in this area has been hindered by the absence of a valid scale. Drawing on the entrepreneurs-as-scientists perspective, we develop a comprehensive 11-item multidimensional scale that covers belief formation, belief testing, and belief updating. We validate the scale across 23 countries, providing a robust tool for advancing research on entrepreneurial action.
