Abstract (De)
Since 2011, the Consumer Barometer of Renewable Energy has established itself as one of the largest and most comprehensive annual reviews of the Swiss population’s preferences on energy topics. This year’s edition introduces a number of novel themes, including the digitalization of the energy sector through smart metering, batteries, and electric mobility. The study includes a choice experiment on consumer preferences
for green building attributes, including energy efficiency certification (GEAK) and rooftop solar with battery storage. For the first time, we also look at the energy-related attitudes of the Swiss youth, comparing and contrasting their views with those of the general population.
