Rationalities shape the way individuals interpret information and engage within organizations. Differences in rationality can complicate collaboration. Therefore, comprehending its influence in organizations is crucial. The traditional approach to examining rationalities and their differences is qualitative, with very few studies using quantitative methods. To bridge this gap, we developed a questionnaire to measure organizational rationality across six dimensions: economic, creative, political, social, legal, and technical. This approach allowed us to identify variations in rationality within teams while embracing the complexity prevalent in pluralistic organizations. Our quantitative tool that measures rationalities in organizations can aid scholars and practitioners in gaining insights on influential dimensions and implementing reforms aligned to them.
