Abstract
Ecosystems are constructs of joint value creation of different organizations that differ from classical value
creation settings by their structure and might bring specific challenges. Blockchain technology offers
particular traits that might bring the potential to help overcome some of the challenges.
Using a systematic literature review, we identify 24 specific challenges in ecosystems and provide
mapping on where blockchain technology can help to solve them.
