Abstract
This report presents a design framework for Nostradamus Module for Market and Socio-Economic Analysis. This Module is developed to address data that contributes to agricultural decision-making and rural policy formulation. The module integrates inputs for digital tool interfaces to improve the availability, accessibility, and utilization of up-to-date data for farm-level business decisions and socio-economic analysis of farmers and rural communities for policy makers. The report reviews existing economic and social analysis models, presents current data sources, identifies systemic data gaps, establishes a baseline for module architecture and provides teaching materials. The module will be tested by Nostradamus Consortium through third-party solutions in pilot deployments under the Open Call framework.
